Gomineko Books is hosting a drawing seminar taught by Jack “Horimouja” Mosher. The three hour class will focus on crafting an illustration, start to finish. Jack will discuss how he approaches a new piece, the techniques he uses to create it and the thorough process involved. Participants should bring sketchbooks as the seminar will be hands-on and Jack will be free to observe work and offer comments and suggestions.

Gomineko Books will also be holding a collaboration exhibition of images featuring the legendary Japanese monster, the Tsuchigumo. The Opening Party is in Shinagawa October 15th following Jack Mosher’s art seminar. (19:00~22:00) (I’ve got a piece in the show as well!) If you’re in Kanto, mark your calendars!

How psyched was I to reconnect with this guy! An old friend from the Tokyo hard core scene, Imazato! (Struggle For Pride) I don’t think I’ve seen the man in like 5 years, but he was down doin’ a show at King Cobra – so of course we had to make some time for tattoos! The last time I saw him, I think I was still scrubbing toilets at the first shop with my tongue! If you wanna know what the hardcore scene in Japan has to offer then you owe it to yourself to check out SFP!

もうそろそろ台湾タトゥーコンベンションや！（２０１０年７月３０日〜８月１日）師匠と一緒にでるコンベンションは初めてで楽しみにしている！！友達のTOKYO HARD CORE TATTOOのトムさんと同じブースで面白そう！！当日飛び込みもOKやけど先に予約をとりたい人連絡ください！

毎日小籠包と臭豆腐が食えるとは…わあああいわあい！

I totally forgot to blog this – Wataru and I are off to the 2010 International Taiwan Tattoo convention at the end of the month!! (July 30th – August 1st) My first time renting a booth with my shishou… and Tom from Tokyo Hard Core! Still have a couple slots open if anyone down in ol’ Taipei wants to get any work done! Absolutely can’t wait!

… and every days I can has cheap Porky buns, pig-blood biscuits and Stinky Tofu!! Waaaaii!!!
