Today, this big ol’ honkin’ box arrived at the shop! What treasures await!?

アナザー箱や！なんでか知らんけどあのロシア人形みたいなやつを思い出す！(本当にWILD ZEROのERICさんよ、丁寧にまとめてくれてありがとう！無事に着いたぁ！)
And inside is… Another box! It’s like those damn russian dolls! (Seriously Eric, thanks for packin’ these well – he even sleeved ‘em for me! Woot!)

色具合はすごい！まさかオリジナルより綺麗？！
Is it possible that the coloring is even better than the original?

WILD ZEROのERICさんは本当に立派な人間です。何回も地球を救ったそうです。私はこのプリントを頼む前に、サンプルを無料で送ってくれました。品質管理ももちろんばっちりでした。ミス１枚もない。用紙の品質もよく、原版と同じぐらい綺麗です！

彫師同士はやっぱり気になるところが一緒で、似ている様な悩みもあるから任してもいいです。ありがとうございました！

Gotta take a sec to plug Wild Zero and thank Eric for his help on these. Not only has this guy saved the world more than once, but the quality of the prints was amazing – far surpassing my expectations. The quality of the paper was high and there was not a single mistake in the entire lot – which I cannot say for so many other companies I have dealt with in the US. I dare to say that the color quality exceeds even the original!

But Eric is also a tattoo artist and so when you leave a job up to someone in your industry, you know that they are going to have a similar mindset toward the work and treat it with care. Thanks again brother!

このまえ、EVA2.0（劇場版のやつ）を見に行って来た！昔アキラをみた時と同じ感じだった。アニメは綺麗過ぎてびっくりした！驚くシーン、感動シーンも多いからEVAファンならおすすめや！
Went and saw Eva 2 this last week. Amazing! Not since Akira (dare I say) have I seen an animated film that kept my jaw on the floor for well over half the show. Well done.

あまり映画をみにいかへんから要らないものをいっぱい買って来た。映画の基本はパンフレットじゃない？でも俺の大嫌いな「破らんと開けれないシール」が貼っている！！腹立つぅ！！２枚を買わないとじゃないか？！GAINAXよ、勘弁してくれる？
And I never see movies so you gotta buy merch, right?It’s a Japanese movie, so you gotta get the pamphlet… complete with the ‘you have to break the seal to open it’ sticker. Argh, I hate those things! Now I have to buy 2 pamphlets to prove my loyalty to collector-dom. C’mon Gainax, you’ve made enough money haven’t you?

And inside, even worse! A book that must be ‘cut open’ to reveal hidden goodies! You shameless bastards!

パンフレットだけじゃない！サウンドトラックも限定シールが外のプラッチックに直接貼っているじゃない！？…その上、宇多田ヒカルのBEAUTIFUL WORLDがのっていないじゃない？！ディスク２枚セットなのに入れるスペースがなかったわけ？！それか、まさか、別のシングルとして発売したいだけじゃない！？GAINAX、ずる過ぎ！！！
At least I bought a decent soundtrack…. that now that I look at carefully I notice does NOT contain Utada Hikaru’s Beautiful World! What, wasn’t 2 disks enough? Or let me guess, then you can milk sales of the single! This is going too far I tell you!

Two delightfully drunk demons have whipped up this collaboration shirt featuring… two delightfully drunk demons!

酔っぱらい二人鬼がこの「酔っぱらい二人鬼」コラボレーションデザインが上手く描いた！

Kozuru in Kujo and Hori-Ken from the ol’ Bunshin Club are the artists behind the design! (I think they go for like 3800yen) If you’re not familiar with the phenomenal designs Kozuru has done through Empty Graphix or his tattoo work than you owe it to yourself to check it out!

西九条のHORIKOZURUさんと分身倶楽部のHORIKENの合作！EMPTY GRAPHIXやWOODSPEAKERに詳しくない人、是非、調べて欲しい！！

It’s a beautiful 6 color print and the picture doesn’t do it justice, but you can find better images on their respective websites.

Finally, the fabled Horie shirts are done and out! What should have taken days took months… (from now on, no more middlemen – really. I mean it this time. You all heard me say it and google has archived it.) Anyway, our first master/apprentice combo design. Wataru did the snake, and I did the flowers, vines, bugs, etc.

This thing is only at Horie and there’s not many of them – come by and grab it while you can!
