このプチトマトみたいなやつは可愛いさし色！！でも食うたらやっぱり不味い！昔の遊びらしいけど針でこの実から種を全て上手くとれて、口に入れて、息を吹いたら音が鳴るよ。

あぁぁ、iPodジェネレーションは心貧乏や！

This tomato lookin’ thing is a nice splash of red to offset all the cool colors in this composition. It’s an ancient game, but if you take all the seeds out with a needle and blow into the fruit of this plant it makes a whistling sound.

I’m telling you, the iPod generation is spiritually bankrupt!

Updated tattoo photos in the gallery again. Including the old decrepit gallery washed up on the shores of the Chopstick HP. Sorry it took me so long to get around to that.

今週の生け花。また同じ種類のお花やけど二つの全然違う形や。長いのが多いんでそれに合わせたスタイルを選んだ。左の方はベーシックスタイル「りっせいたい」。今回は前に持ってきたんであまり水が見えない…が！ちゃんと上のとこにのぞいたらお水が少し見える。右の方は「しょくせいたい」。こういう場合は「線」「面」「ます」をみせたい。他の形と比べたらかなり自由やから楽しい！

This weeks Ikebana! Auuughh… I don’t want to type this in English… Ok, 1 set of flowers – two distinct styles! Since this week we have only long and tall flowers to work with we chose styles suitable for such flowers. The style on the left is rather orthodox with the flowers brought to the front, hiding most of the water. BUT if you look in the upper corner, you can still see a proper amount peeking through! On the left is a different style altogether. Rather than concerning itself with overall form, the main goal of this arrangement is to adequately show “line” “surface” and “mass.” It’s more free form, so you can really go wild with it!

First time in a long time – Ikebana update! Taking a break from the “scenery” based stuff to do a simple cool piece for summer. This time around I put in plenty of “Lindou.” In case you didn’t know, all my favorite flowers are part of that spectrum. The Iris, Orchid, Gentiana, etc. (Just in case any of you are looking for boquet ideas for a certain lonely pervert’s birthday next September!)

久しぶりの生け花タイム！最近、「景色」みたいな形でやっているけど今日はめっちゃ暑いから涼しいかんじでいこうと思った。リンドウは可愛いけど入れすぎたかも。俺の一番好きな花は紫系や。アイリス、ランの花、花菖蒲、リンドウ等。（来月は誕生日やから花束を送りたい人の為）

Ryoko from Last Target was back in town for another Show at King Cobra! Argh! Why are Japanese live shows always over so soon!? I don’t think I’ve been to a live show in like, 2 years (unless you count Summer Sonic… which you don’t.) The very next day I relapsed into my mohawk again. Sorry mom.

ラストターゲットのRYOKOが東京から遊びに来た！キングコブラでライブをやっていたけどあいかわらずスタートがはやすぎて行けなかった。残念！ずっとライブにいってないな。どんなかんじかだんだん忘れてきた。まぁまぁまぁまぁ、ライブにいけなくても少なくともモヒカンを復活する。おかん、すまん！

Welcome to the Chopstick Horie VIP Lounge! Fully equipped with a super nintendo and sega genesis as per the tune “Juicy” by “Biggy” (that’s the Notorious B.I.G. for all you mayo-slurpin’ albinos out there) … Ok, you got me – all we have is a busted playstation with one controller. But that was more than enough to entertain Lukas and Mayliss who are back from France! Sadly, Vivianne has yet to make an appearence, but you can bet the next few months will be full of events I’d be ashamed to send my mom photos of.

チョップの堀江店VIPにようこそ！ビッギーの歌ったどおり、メガドライブとスーパーファミコンがおいてある！…　（まぁ、本当は壊れているプレステしかないけど）フランスの名物ルーカスとメイリスがまた来日した！ヴィヴィアンも来ているらしいけどまだ会っていない。２ヵ月間ぐらい楽しいイベントがあるはず！この前、ひざサスペンションをやってしまったから今度は何がいい？！おかぁさん、泣かないで。

Special secret… Mayliss (at the ripe age of 11) brought her tattoo machines with her… I can’t think of a better artist for a custom piece! Go to it kid! (photos to follow, blah blah – stay tuned!)

秘密な情報やけど今回はMaylissちゃんがマシンを持ってきたんで、タトゥーを入れてもらおう！もちろん結果をブログにだすからよろしくね！

ちょっと久しぶりで、ごめん！最新Painter作品です。戦前時代アメリカっぽく懐かしい雰囲気をだしている絵を描こうとした。ちょっと変わっているなぁぁ。ところで、僕の最近描いている女の子の絵は「ポッチャ！」っていわれている。本当に！？んんん〜確かに筋肉が嫌いじゃないけど…

今日のファイナル写真はこれ：クリスマス生け花！どう？可愛くない？チビ薔薇も入っているよ！何処からみていても（正面でも横でも）バランスは大体一緒みえる。ろうそくも入っているけど飾り物だけやから火をつけっちゃあかん！おぃ！やめて！

再来週は「ベンの生け花忘年スペッシャル特集スーパー限定なんとか」だから絶対みてください！

また奇麗な生け花が出来上がった！先生はメッチャうまいから自分のへたくそのを見せるのはちょっと恥ずかしいけどね。今回、チョップのバイトの子はアシスタントとして手伝ってもらおうと思った。おおきにききちゃん！

毎週、生け花の教室にいって、いろんな花の実験をしています。そういう静かなところで花の事を集中したら、なんとなく落ち着ます。いつも受付のほうに飾っているから、ぜひ見に来て！

New ikebana! I’m a little embarrassed to show this since my teacher is about 1000 times better… but it helps to have my lovely assistant Kiwa hold up this weeks flower arrangement.

Concentrating only on the beauty of flowers in the quiet of a countryside classroom makes it easy to relax and forget about the busy life of the city. I always put these near the reception area so drop by and see!
