きたる12月16日(土)、「RESURRECTION EXHIBITION」という展示会に参加します！

日本全国のグラフティーアーティスト108人がスケートボードをリメイクした作品を展示、販売します。
オープニングパーティは今週の金曜日です。是非お越し下さい。
アートショーの準備から帰ってきたところです。かなりヤバい作品ばっかりなので、皆さん見に行くべきだと思います！！！
It’s my extreme pleasure to have been invited to participate in the Resurrection Exhibition this Friday at Pine Brooklyn in downtown Osaka. The concept is simple, but solid – 108 graffiti artists, tattooers, and street artists coming together to recycle old skateboards into unique works of art. (The exhibit will be on in Tokyo next Feb. dates and info to follow) The Osaka opening is on the 16th this month, please come and check it out! I just got back from the hanging and… well… I wanted to rip my brain out of my head and stomp on it – too much talent in one compact area. Mix in some music and booze, and you’ve got an opening party – see you there!

今月、イベントが沢山ありましたのでこの情報をアップするのは忘れました。
僕の大好きなアーティストSHOHEIさんは大阪のグループ展に参加しています。（南堀江のPULPギャラリー）
彼の作品はなんと！ボールペンとマッキーだそうです。こんな細かい絵はペンで描けるかよ！？。。。と思うぐらいレベルです。
原作をみる機会はなかなかないです。
Due to the overwhelming amount convention work earlier this month, I forgot to post this earlier.
An up and coming artist of whom I am particularly fond had his first Osaka show in Minami Horie’s Pulp Gallery.
His common unassuming moniker SHOHEI cleverly masks a near explosive amount of talent. His weapons of choice are the ballpoint and the Sharpie marker; humble tools for the casual poster artist, he has evolved to work with them intimately – refining his craft to an almost obscene level of detail.
画集も販売しています。（ERECTマガジンが出版しています）数は少ないから急いだ方がいいかもしれません。

The folks over at ERECT magazine, Japan’s cool up-and-coming arts rag have also published a collection of Shohei’s works. Extremely limited, only 30 copies were distributed to Osaka with only 20 for Tokyo and 50 more for sale online. I was fortunate to snag one for myself and even get a picture drawn on the inside cover!
