West Japan Wheel is an Osaka based company who has begun manufacturing beautiful seemless wheel covers for bikes of all flavors (Road, Mountain, Fixie, BMX, etc.) The covers are Pure Polycarbonate goodness and can be customized by any ambitious artist, but WJW will also be creating a line of artist based covers.
As an aspiring bike nut myself, it’s been my honor to work closely with the WJW crew on their prototypes and am excited to announce that they will be making their debut in the flesh at COMIKE 80 – Japan and the world’s largest comic/manga event at Tokyo Big Sight August 12th-14th. Sadly, I will not be in attendance at the event (haven’t been to CM in almost a decade and it kills me!) but if you’re in Tokyo feel free to dive headfirst into the heart of otakulture and have a look. Fear not, there’s only about 500,000 attendees to wade past! (Circle Name is Hubble Bubble)
