I finally swept everything off my plate and sat down and painted a sheet of commemorative flash in honor of my fallen friend and fellow tattooer Hiderow who passed away this past spring. I’ll be making a run of 40 signed and numbered giclée prints on watercolor paper. All proceeds from these prints will benefit Hiderow’s surviving family to assist with final expenses. The prints will go on sale 11/15 at Hiderow’s memorial event in Hiroshima City (more info on that to follow). The charity auction last week by machine maestros Aaron Cain and Seth Ciferri was a great success. Their efforts are greatly appreciated by all of us at home and abroad who cherish Hiderow’s memory. Thanks to all those who participated and also to Doug Hardy and Gus for making sure everything went smoothly.
