The Big Cleanup.

Did everyone have a pleasant New Year? I took my first day off in 3.5 years. No lie. It was amazing. I sat at home watching Osaka comedy programs all day and then, discontent with my non-productivity, decided to clean the house. Naturally I started with the old crap in the freezer only to make some amazing blog-worthy discoveries:

First is this disgusting Disney Cheeseburger thing. Check out that date – one week after my birthday… last year. Disgusting! I vaguely remember purchasing this from the 99 Yen shop (104 yen after tax) when I was broke as hell over a year ago before my tattooing debut.

Next is this!

Gross

Cucumber Pepsi. Ok, so I forgot to take a picture of the half-empty (definitely not half-full) bottle… so I stole this one from the official HP. It has a color resembling my favorite household cleaner majiclean. Apparently I must not have thought the taste was so hot either judging by the leftover contents. What kind of company thought cucumbers would make a good softdrink flavor? Moreover, why did I buy it? Or keep the half-drunk bottle for half a year? I foggily recall a sign stuck to this at Don Quijote stating in Japanese: “Cucumber Soda? I know what you’re thinking…” There was some more information, but I was thirsty and they had me at “Soda” so home it went.

Speaking of which, this blog is starting to stink a bit… some of these updates are past the expiration date by a few weeks, sorry. Updating weekly is my New Years resolution for 2008!

(PS to English readers: yeah, I know a “hey, it’s a wacky Japanese food item” is a copout for a blog topic. I promise to deliver on some more appetizing content next week – HIYO!)
